Airborne Nation - "No Taxation Without Representation!"

"Taxation is the price we pay for failing to build a civilized society. The higher the tax level, the greater the failure. A centrally planned totalitarian state represents a complete defeat for the civilized world, while a totally voluntary society represents its ultimate success." - Mark Skousen

"No Taxation Without Representation!"

Chad P. Morrison, Saturday, February 20, 2010

I have to say that this rings in with the whole "tea-party" theme, but it is far from their ideology, I promise. Teabaggers do not favor social programs, they favor a massive military, CIA, FBI, and Homeland Security. They favor a crookedly moral fascist state. I wanted to assert these facts before I went any further. However, I favor social programs, small federal and state government, limited military, the right to bear arms, and no invasive government agencies like the CIA. That being said, currently, our tax dollars fund social programs that do not function. They go to fund massive invasive organizations like Homeland Security. In short, our taxes go pay the salaries of people whose job it is to take away our freedoms. As such, I feel that we should not have to pay taxes to this government. In fact, until this government actually functions for the people, and by the people, we should not have to do anything for them. We should consider asking them to remove themselves from power. By the way, Wesley Snipes agrees, as the linked article asserts, and so do many others. I guess that is pretty good validation. Are you wondering why you have not heard from Mr. Snipes lately? He was recently bailed out of jail, for refusing to pay taxes to a nation that does nothing for the people. He is appealing three years in prison. That is something the federal government, and the state controlled media, managed to keep under raps until the IRS bombing. Why? Now, they think they can just stop anyone from opposing them by threatening them with tax lawsuits. Perhaps, get a little more bureaucracy? Snipes was establishing training "compounds" for what the government says was "bodyguard training." Though, they suspected him of having more clandestine intentions. It seems that every time someone attempts to do anything that this government does not like, they come in and shut it down. Gives new meaning to the, "land of the free, and home of the brave."

"Supplemental" - Kent Allen Halliburton, Tuesday, August 23, 2016

Paying taxes really sucks. You work your but off all day every day, just to make ends meet, only to pay, in some cases, up to nearly half of your income in taxes. You watch, helplessly, as it is taken away from you by the IRS Income Tax, Medicare, State Taxes, and depending on where you live, any number of other sources. The other part of this equation that is even more frustrating, is the realization that many rich people, and almost all major US corporations, have the money, and the lawyers, needed to take advantage of every tax loophole imaginable. After which, they end up getting so much money back that they shift the real tax burden onto the working class. You and me. While major corporation and the super rich are getting refunds that could fund the operations of the economies of some small countries, the working class is left, per capita, paying a higher tax rate and taking on the burden for the day to day operations of the government. Though helping to pay for the operations of the government is technically the duty of every citizen, it is unfair that the working class is taking on the strongest burden, especially when that government, like Chad argues, does not care for them, or their needs, in the slightest. Rather, they spend most of their time focusing on the needs of the corporations and wealthy individuals who are screwing us over. There has to come a point where the working class becomes so fed up with this backwards, unequal, and illegal arrangement that they do something to make it come to a direly instant, and complete, halt. It that does not happen, these people are just going to continue to come up with new and creative ways to rob us blind, so that they can continue to live their plush lifestyles on our dime. I, for one, have about had it.

  1. I'm not sure about the actual tax-rates (either you didn't link to them; or you did, and it's a case of "TL;DR"---the case with most who visit blogs ... they want 'about a postcard's worth' of information---usually just 'the answer to a question'), but I remember seeing a 'meme' on Facebook that said income tax wasn't "a thing" until the mid 1950s.
